Hacking
The Hacking phase holds gymkhanas and a presentation clinic each year. All the events are relaxed and focused on having a good time with our four legged friends and giving us all an excuse to dress up.

Your horse doesn't have to be a super model to win. At Northside there are lots of classes to choose from which will suit both you and your horse's ability. If the sport is new to you, it's advised to attend the clinic to learn the basics of presentation, how to perform a workout, and learn about showmanship. This will give you the confidence to be part of the minikhana in the afternoon, and then to progress to the next level.
Gymkanas & Minikanas
Minikanas are little Gymkanas and include classes such as:
- Led Pony,
- Galloway or Hack
- Educated Pony, Galloway or Hack
- Open ridden classes
- Childs Pony, Adults Galloway, Champion Hack
Gymkanas are somewhat larger and include classes such as:

- Beginner’s classes - including Beginners Horse/Pony with Rider Under 12 years,
- Fastest Walking Horse/Pony and Champion Beginner Rider
